Amayseing Tutors, LLC was birthed in the mind of Anthony Mayse, Sr. An Army veteran, Mr. Mayse has over 12 years experience teaching elementary school ELAR, Math, Science, and Social Studies. He is certified in the state of Texas to teach elementary levels EC-6 in all subjects. His passion for creative teaching strategies and igniting excitement in children for learning are his superpowers in the classroom, and through these he is able to increase student engagement, curiosity, and learning.

Mr. Mayse feels privileged to work alongside his sons, Brandon Mayse and Anthony Mayse, Jr. Both of them possess master's degrees and teach as well. Brandon Mayse has 10 years experience teaching high school math, including Geometry and Algebra II. Anthony Mayse, Jr. also has 10 years teaching experience and is certified EC-6 in Math and Reading. Brandon and Anthony Jr. share in the military legacy of service that Mr. Mayse has modeled, with Brandon serving in the National Guard and Anthony Jr. serving in the Army Reserves.

As Black men with a combined 30+ years in the public education system, the Mayse gentlemen have developed a sophisticated understanding of how to support and encourage children with diverse identities, learning needs, and life experiences. We believe learning should be accessible to all students, regardless of background, and that all students can be successful given the right tools and support.
